AS PER REAL LANGLOIS FACEBOOK ADMISSION WE NOW KNOW THE YUKON CONSERVATION OFFICER OR OFFICER'S ARE INVOLVED IN GIVING REAL LANGLOIS LEGAL ADVICE ON HUNTING IN QUEBEC AND TRYING TO BECOME A YUKON RESIDENT SHOWING THAT YUKON LAW YOU CANNOT DO BOTH.THE WORST PART IS ABOUT TIPPING OFF THE VIOLATORS AHEAD OF TIME TO AVOID CHARGES

IT'S NO LONGER ABOUT THE HUNTERS BUT ABOUT THE YUKON CONSERVATION OFFICERS CHOOSING TO LOOK THE OTHER WAY KNOWING THAT THE PUBLICITY THIS HUNT CAUSED TO YUKON HUNTERS.

We are demanding a full and immediate investigation into serious allegations surrounding this year’s hunting season in the Dawson area. Based on the evidence and information now circulating, it appears there may have been repeated violations of the Yukon Wildlife Act involving a group of Quebec hunters.

Even more troubling are the allegations that one or more Yukon conservation officers may have gone beyond their role and provided legal advice, guidance, or preferential treatment to individuals involved. If true, this would represent a serious abuse of power, a betrayal of public trust, and a direct undermining of the enforcement system Yukoners are expected to rely on.

Yukon hunters are held to the law and face consequences when they break it. That standard must apply equally to everyone, including those responsible for enforcing it. No officer should be advising hunters on how to work around residency requirements, hunting rules, or legal obligations. If that occurred, it must be exposed and investigated immediately.

This is no longer just about the hunters involved. It is now about possible corruption, misconduct, and the integrity of Yukon’s conservation enforcement. The public deserves to know who was involved, what was said, and whether public authority was misused.

We call for transparency, accountability, and a complete investigation into every officer, communication, and decision connected to this matter.

The shit is definitely going to hit the fan. cat's out of the bag now and it's about time according to some Yukon hunters with allegations of C.O's taking $5000.00 cash to look the other way with outfitters and outfitters using spotter plane's to seek wild game. These allegation have not been proven in a court of law and are opinions of Yukon hunters.

Dear Minister

I am writing to request an immediate and thorough investigation into serious concerns arising from this year’s hunting season in the Dawson area.

There are allegations of Yukon Wildlife Act violations involving a group of Quebec hunters. More troubling, however, are claims that one or more Yukon conservation officers may have provided legal advice, hunting guidance, or other improper assistance that could have helped individuals avoid residency or regulatory requirements.

If true, this would represent a serious breach of public trust and a misuse of authority. Conservation officers are expected to enforce the law fairly and consistently, not to advise individuals on how to work around it.

All hunters in Yukon are held to the same legal standard, and that standard must apply equally to everyone, including public officials. If any officer acted outside their authority, that conduct must be fully investigated and addressed.

I am requesting transparency, accountability, and a complete review of all related communications, actions, and enforcement decisions connected to this matter.

Sincerely,

Yukon hunters and taxpayers

open letter to the Minister
